need help with ideas for my baby’s 1st bday theme?

So my daughter’s 1st bday isnt till next year February. But that’s how we do it here, we start planning as soon as baby’s born for reservation and financial reasons. In any case, my daughter’s theme is Little Suzy’s Zoo, aside from the typical Disnesy princess, Tweety, Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, and Hello Kitty just to name a few. I think I’m pretty much set on this theme, but the downfall is that unlike all the others where there are a lot of things out there to use by these characters. Little Suzy’s Zoo has not much if any. If I go online and type in Little Suzy’s Zoo all i get is nursery sets and some baby feeding products and I’ve seen stickers in hobby/craft stores…
but i dont think im gonna use stickers too much for anything. Im probably gonna have to do a lot of stuff by scratch which is totally fine by me. I have a whole year to do it. But I need help with ideas for centerpieces and party favors. I’ve already hired entertainment and a photo booth that makes something like a rubber stamp of your picture…both very expensive. Therefore, I wanted to keep the centerpieces and favors simple but yet cool, like you’ve never seen something like that before, you know? I was thinking of going to a 99 cent store or those cheap by-in-bulk store and get clear plastin vases or containers and me and friends were gonna draw (probably by tracing) or somehow put pictures of little suzy’s zoo characters on each container and fill it with some goodies, but we don’t know what yet… i dunno. Any help or suggestions, maybe u’ve seen something at someone else’s party that was a cool idea? Any advice or help would be greatly greatly appreciated. thanks a bunch!

eBay! Check these out…
For other odds and ends, just use colors to pick up on the theme! I’m sure it’ll be great. Just be creative.

How about having a cake some ice cream and inviting the childs Grandparents over. Why the need for such an over the top celebration?? The kids going to be 1 year old. You think she’s going to remember some big splashy party that shes either going to sleep thru or be in a cranky mood and cry all the time.. Save the funds and put her thru college.

You are wise to start early!! I found a couple of sites that have a few little suzy’s zoo decorations…
The first one has some invitations that you can customize, I’d guess you can make them for a first b-day…they also have a cute 1st birthday balloon…you can take the picture from that and have the cake decorated that way…What exactly are you looking for?? The second one has treat bags, a candle, a cake pan, and some other stuff…I hope you find what you’re looking for!! Good luck and congrats on your little one!
