Creative way to use sand from my wedding as gift?
qamberq asked:
My husband and I were married almost two years ago in Hawaii on the beach….the man who married us was nice enough to take the sand we were standing on when we said our vows, and put it in a bag (ziploc sandwich bag size). I am trying to think of something to do with it and give it to my husband as a gift/romantic gesture…any ideas?

Have it put in an hourglass & give it to him with a poem? I have no idea who would do this but I bet you could call a gift shop & find out.

lol no man wants sand but you can use it as a part of your house decor. Put it in a fancy bowl with pepples and make it look just like it did at your wedding place it with your wedding pictures.

Go the dollar store and buy all those weird shaped bottles with lids.
Pour the sand in there and send them off as thank you gifts.
You can put some nice lacing around them are make a pretty bow around the lid..
If you want to be real creative, add some dye to make it more appealing.
Then buy a ton of blank cards and write a personal thank you note with a cute picture of the two of you..

so you can keep it on a shelf or in bedroom

Put it in one of those square vases with a bamboo plant and some sea glass. That would be cool.

You can paint sand, I mean a painting of a beach maybe, or a huge castle made of sand. You can think or use imagination.
Then tell the artists at and they paint whatever it is. It is still related to sand
They deliver your painting to your door, and smaller painting, it will be cheaper.
